WHAT IS YULLBE?

Yullbe is an unprecedented large-scale VR experience. Breaking the classic game mode, Yullbe is a sensory experience that integrates exclusive brands and IPs related to Europa-Park, film and art in a fully immersive VR offering, which leaves you wanting more!

WHAT MAKES YULLBE DIFFERENT FROM PREVIOUS VR EXPERIENCES?

Yullbe is the next-level free-roaming, full body tracking VR experience. Our team developed state-of-the-art technologies and achieved unprecedented media quality to provide you with an innovative and smooth experience that can host up to 8 persons at a time.

Requirements for your visit

WHAT DO I ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO BRING WITH ME?

For a fast and easy arrival, we kindly ask you to bring the following:

  1. Proof of authorisation
  2. YULLBE Ticket
  3. Photo ID
  4. Medical face mask

We explicitly ask you to ensure that you have all documents mentioned above prior to your arrival. If you don’t have all documents, a visit (despite a valid entry ticket / valid reservation confirmation) is not possible.
The documents will be checked on site in the visitor car park, at the main entrance, or at the hotel reception respectively. A photo ID is mandatory.

WHAT COUNTS AS PROOF OF AUTHORISATION?

Proof of authorisation must be one of the three following documents:

Tested
Officially accepted, negative Corona test result (PCR or quick test), which at the time of arrival is no older than 24 hours. A negative test result is required for visitors aged 6+. Please note: Only tests from an official test site are accepted. Brought along self-tests are not accepted.
Vaccinated
Please bring your official proof of vaccination or vaccination passport. The original vaccination passport must be presented as proof. French visitors must present a personalised, dated and printed confirmation of their vaccination. The proof of complete vaccination must be older than 14 days.
Recovered
Please bring your positive PCR test result which is older than 28 days. If your positive test result is older than 6 months, you will also have to bring your official proof of vaccination or vaccination passport. The original vaccination passport must be presented as proof. The proof of vaccination must be older than 14 days.

If you cannot produce any of the mentioned proofs of authorisation, we have a limited number of test facilities on site for exceptional circumstances.
Depending on demand, very long queues are likely. The testing capacity is very limited and reserved for exceptional circumstances.
For visitors living in Germany, these tests are free.
Please note, that the law requires a testing fee of €22.90¹ per person for international guests.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I TEST POSITIVE ON SITE?

If you are tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, you will and your anyone in your party have to leave the premises immediately and contact your local health authorities.
The YULLBE ticket can be exchanged for a new, date-specific ticket for the 2021 season. In order to do so, please contact our guest service at +49 7822 77-6688 or gaesteservice@europapark.de.

WHICH MASKS ARE ACCEPTED?

The following masks are accepted as medical face masks: Surgery masks or FFP2 and 3 masks. Medical face masks are known from hospitals and GPs. They are made from special materials, are rectangular with folds and usually green or blue on the front. The back (inside) is white. They have ear loops and a wire or metal strip over the nose.

WHY IS THERE A MASK REQUIREMENT?

Wearing a face mask is mandatory because it helps to stop the spread of Coronavirus. In order to protect yourself and others, it is important to wear the mask over mouth and nose. It especially protects others from infections. The person wearing the mask is also protected, if the mask is worn properly. It doesn’t mean, however, that there is a 100% protection.

TICKET BOOKING

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY?

Unfortunately, you cannot exchange or cancel your dated ticket after purchase. For further information, please refer to our General Terms of Conditions and Sales

HOW LONG IN ADVANCE CAN TICKETS BE PURCHASED ONLINE?

You can conveniently purchase your ticket on our website several weeks before your visit.

WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS?

You can purchase the ticket via tickets.mackinternational.de/en/ to choose your preferred available time or directly inside the Yullbe building.

CAN I BUY THE TICKET IN PERSON?

Yes, tickets for Yullbe experience are also sold on the spot, following the “first come, first serve” This is why to secure your experience & get your preferred visit slot, we highly recommend you to book online.

IS THE YULLBE EXPERIENCE ACCESSIBLE FOR WHEELCHAIR USERS?

The first Yullbe experience is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible due to character movement issues inside the media, but we are working hard to launch more VR experiences integrating the guests who require a wheelchair.

WHAT TYPES OF VR EXPERIENCES WILL YOU OFFER?

  • YULLBE GO: free roaming VR experience lasts for 10 minutes.
  • YULLBE PRO: The Free Roaming, Full Body Tracking VR experience. After you gear up, the experience will last 30 minutes and you can move freely around the room and every single movement of your body will be tracked and instantaneously replicated by your avatar. That’s why you are fully immersed in it!

HOW MUCH DOES THE TICKET COST?

YULLBE PRO – Mission Rulantica costs 29€ per person (duration: 30 minutes).

YULLBE GO – Traumatica costs 12 € per person (duration: 10 minutes).

WHAT IS YOUR OPENING HOURS?

Mon – Sun: 2 – 10pm*

*at YULLBE PRO the last booking is made at 21:40

WHAT TIME CAN I CHOOSE?

You can select any 10 minutes timeslot – from 14:00, 14:10… onwards

HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE?

We suggest that you arrive 10 minutes earlier for your check-in.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I ARRIVE LATE?

In case of late arrival, we will do our best to fit your group in the next available slot – please, note that this does not guarantee we will be able to do so especially during the peak period.

SHOULD I BE IN GOOD HEALTH TO JOIN?

For your own safety, you should indeed be in overall good health to join the experience. You should refrain from joining if you suffer high-blood pressure, hyper-sensitivity to multi-sensory effects or any other condition that could be aggravated by this adventure. Pregnant women should not be participating either. However, there is no upper age limit.

BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We strongly recommend that you wear comfortable clothing, especially shoes. But our foot trackers do work with heels and flip-flop.

WHERE CAN I KEEP MY THINGS?

We provide lockers for our guests before entering Yullbe experience. Please note that Yullbe is not responsible for any lost or stolen item.

CAN I WEAR GLASSES?

Tiny frame glasses might fit under our headset, but we cannot ensure that all sizes of glasses will, so we recommend that you wear our gear without glasses to ensure your comfort during the adventure.

I'M USUALLY SUBJECT TO MOTION SICKNESS - WILL I GET SICK?

We apply state-of-the-art motion capture technology to track the large group of the guests at the same time with greater accuracy and zero latency, so motion sickness should be limited. If the experience is too intense for you nonetheless, our operators will assist you to pause your experience!

WHAT SIZES ARE YOUR EQUIPMENT?

All of our headsets, backpacks and hand and foot-trackers are adjustable and designed as one-fit-many. Our headsets will accommodate head circumferences ranging from 48cm to 63cm.

WHERE CAN I PARK AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

You can park in the parking lot belonging to Hotel Krønasår and it is free of charge for less than 3 hours. If you go to Hotel Krønasår after the visit to Yullbe and exceed three hours of stay, please go to the reception of Hotel Krønasår and exchange your parking ticket. For further information, please contact Hotel Krønasår.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS OR RECORD VIDEOS?

Yes, you can take photos in the designated photo areas, but it is not allowed to take pictures or videos inside the Yullbe experience itself.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER ENTERING THE YULLBE BUILDING?

Show your ticket (mobile phone or printed) to retrieve your visitor badge
Proceed to the waiting area
Complete the self information check-in process
Wait until you are called out on the screen

The Experience!

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM HEIGHT OR AGE FOR YULLBE EXPERIENCE?

  • For YULLBE PRO – All visitors above 14 years old AND taller than 1.40m can participate in Yullbe adventure.
  • For YULLBE GO: recommended from 12 years and over 1.40 m tall.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PARTICIPATE AT A TIME?

  • For YULLBE PRO – Mission Rulantica, up to four (4) people in a group can participate at a time, making it one of the largest group VR-experience. If you have a group of more than four persons, your team will be splited into multiple groups. We recommend you to book the closest possible time slots together. Small group may be teamed up with other guests.
  • YULLBE GO is a single experience. You experience the VR adventure alone and individually.

HOW LONG DOES YULLBE EXPERIENCE LAST?

  • YULLBE GO: Free roaming VR experience lasts for 10 minutes.
  • The Free Roaming, Full Body Tracking VR experience YULLBE PRO. After you gear up, the experience will last 30 minutes and you can move freely around the room and every single movement of your body will be tracked and instantaneously replicated by your avatar. That’s why you are fully immersed in it!

Hygiene

ARE ALL EQUIPMENT SANITIZED AFTER EVERY USE?

Safety and health of all visitors is our utmost priority. We thoroughly clean and sanitize all equiments (headsets, hand & foot trackers, backpacks) after each use. We also stick to the 1.5 meter social distancing rule, and during the experience if you are too close to your friends/other players, there is the indications letting you know.

HOW DOES THE VENTILATION WORK IN THE YULLBE BUILDING?

Within the whole arena, fresh air will be renewed twice per hour completely. In winter, heat recovery ventilation works in the same way. We will do everything we can to ensure you a comfortable and safe visit in Yullbe.

CAN I BUY YULLBE TECHNOLOGY AND TAKE IT HOME?

Unfortunately no, Yullbe experience only works perfectly on-site due to its advanced technology and the specificity of the room setting.
